The Independent Community Radio Network (ICRN) connects and supports like-minded community radios with the shared goal of establishing a more sustainable and long-term future. ICRN’s activities have included radio residencies, temporary projects, co-broadcasting, talks, and the creation of a publicly accessible archive of resources.
ICRN currently exists as Palanga Street Radio (LT), Tīrkultūra (LV), IDA Radio (FI), The Lake Radio (DK), and Cashmere Radio (DE), with significant contributions from Lahmacun Radio (HU), among many other stations across Europe.
For the COSMOS pop-up radio at Studio Pandora, ICRN’s co-founder Samantha Lippett has tapped Tīrkultūra, a Riga-based radio and cultural platform, for an in-depth sonic exploration of the Latvian underground. COSMOS was born out of Le Guess Who?’s mission to platform adventurous sounds that have the power to enrich lives. It’s a hub for experimentation and inspiration, and an ever-expanding network of creative minds.

R_R_ (Reinis Ramans), Live Performance from Studio Pandora
Live performance from Studio Pandora by R_R_ (Reinis Semēvics, Riga), profiling recent compositions of downtempo and field recording. Releasing his first self-titled release in 2020, the name R_R is inspired by his grandfather and Latvian composer Gederts Ramans. Reinis also works as a sound artist, lecturer, DJ and radio host in Riga, where he is making significant contributions to the local contemporary art and music scene.

COOL AIR are a Lithuanian-British duo creating broadcasts and mixes of immersive soundscapes celebrating the depths of ambient and drone. Starting as a radio show on Palanga Street Radio in 2022, they are now in the process of working on their own music platform. In this edition, they will profile releases from Baltic-based music labels and artists.
