Bolivian artist, performer and DJ Maque together with Brazilian experimental musician, producer and DJ auto_timer founded the CHOKA Collective, a platform inspired by the Spanish word "chocar," meaning to collide.
Our mission is to bring together performers and DJs from various migrant communities one-of-a-kind events that celebrate the convergence of different party cultures and musical practices. CHOKA features collaborative performances, an inclusive platform prioritising queer artists with migration backgrounds, professional exchange opportunities, and a focus on community building.

CHOKA co-founder auto_timer is a Brazilian experimental musician, producer and DJ with a broad artistic production. Their DJ-sets focuses on left-field Latin American bass music (specially from Brazil), always trying to bring more experimental aspects to the foreground. You can expect deep vibrations and the whole room to shake with you whenever they play.
